Work on Campus
At Farmington, you can also gain practical experience by working in any number of sports-related jobs, without leaving campus: fitness instructor, lifeguard, or program coordinator at UMF’s Fitness & Rec Center; team manager, statistician or event coordinator
for the UMF Athletics Department, to name just a few.
Work
in the Area
Students at UMF have a long tradition of working in sports-related jobs in the greater Farmington area: world-class ski resorts Sugarloaf/USA, Sunday River and Saddleback Mountain, as well as Farmington’s own Titcomb Mountain, just five minutes from campus. Plus Farmington students often work for the town's Recreation Dept. and also serve as volunteer coaches for the area's youth sports programs.
