Because medical schools, law schools and business schools recognize the intrinsic value of traditional liberal arts education, there are typically no set lists of courses making up a pre-med, pre-law, or pre-MBA program.

Here at Farmington, Maine's Public Liberal Arts College, we've developed individualized course "tracks" in each pre-professional area — specific courses identified as ideal for meeting the entrance requirements of medical schools, law schools, and MBA programs.


Farmington's Faculty Advising Team Approach
In addition, you'll will meet regularly with specially-selected Pre-Med, Pre-Law, and Pre-MBA faculty advising teams. These caring and knowledgeable professors and practicing adjunct faculty will work closely with you to tailor your course selections to meet the specific academic demands of each professional discipline.

They will also help you to prepare you for the entrance exams (MCAT, LSAT, etc.) and the application process, and to expose you to the specialty of your choosing — providing you with the advice and tools necessary for you to gain entry into the medical school, law school, dental school, pharmacy school, veterinary school, or MBA program of your choosing.
