The University of Maine at Farmington community invites you to attend our Fall Open House for college-bound students and their families.

This conference-style day is designed to give you and your family a comprehensive view of the University of Maine at Farmington, and you get to self-select the sessions you'd like to attend.

The morning consists of presentations by various academic departments. The afternoon covers the application process, financial aid, athletics and campus organizations, living on campus, how we use technology on campus, and more. A campus tour with one of our student guides and an award-winning lunch are included.

For your convenience, we're hosting open houses on three different days.
You pick the date that works best for you.

Fall Open House 2008
9:30am - 2:00pm Each Day

Start Register and chat with our Admission staff and some UMF students.  

Then The rest of the day includes opportunities for you and your family to:

  • Get a sense of how friendly this place is.
  • Discover ways to reduce the costs of your college education.
  • Learn why student-faculty collaborations are important here.
  • Find out about our strong academic reputation.
  • See if UMF's small, cozy size is the right fit for you.
  • Check out our internship, work, and study-abroad opportunities.
  • Learn about our athletics and campus organizations.
  • Learn about our cutting-edge, cross-campus, wireless computer environment.
  • Find out about our student volunteer opportunities.
  • Ask questions you might have about UMF or about applying to college, financing your education, campus technology, etc.
Eat Enjoy lunch provided by our campus dining service.
