Thank you for your interest in the University of Maine at Farmington. Whether you’re looking to become a new First-Year Student (freshman), a Transfer Student from another institution, or an International Student from another country, we welcome you and we encourage you to apply.

Because we purposely limit our total enrollment to just 2,000 full-time students, admission to the University of Maine at Farmington is competitive. Plus, some of our majors are in such high demand that openings in those academic programs often fill quickly (Elementary Education, Early Childhood Education, Creative Writing, for example).

For these reasons and more, we encourage you to apply as early as possible.
